Our biggest Bore Spacers ever made!
The Spacer Company undertook an exciting project to design, manufacture and deliver the biggest spacers we have ever made.
We worked closely with our distributor Underground Civil Supplies on NEXT DC’s S3 Data Centre in Artarmon, Sydney.
Situated less than 10 kilometres from the CBD, S3 Sydney will deliver more than 20,000m2 of IT space to organisations and highly secure, native access to the leading public and private cloud platforms, operating at the highest global standards for data centre reliability and efficiency.
Ferrycarrig is bringing in 33kV power from an Ausgrid substation into the S3 Data Centre, enabling the centre to operate at full capacity when completed. The trenching and conduit installation works involved crossing the street in Artarmon using a 1600 diameter underbore.

The Spacer Company’s custom designed Trenchless Bore Spacers enabled quick and easy installation and support of the conduit.
The Trenchless Bore Spacers were custom designed and cut in-house at our Brisbane manufacturing plant using our own CNC Router.
As each application is different, The Spacer Company will design a Trenchless Bore Spacer to meet the needs of each individual project. This one just happened to be our biggest one to date!
