Data Centre in Truganina

Fastway Civil Supplies distributed over 8,000 of The Spacer Company’s QIKBUILD Spacers to a major project in Melbourne, Australian-owned Hickory Data Centres first data centre located in Truganina.

The centre will house a 72MW hyperscale facility comprising two 36MW buildings and 18 data halls. The QIKBUILD Spacer is flexible to better conform to uneven trench bases and the thin walls ensure backfill is unhindered and can flow completely around the conduits. It’s a simple design that allows quick and simple slide-fit assembly while the QIKBUILD’s unique Taper Locks form a sturdy connection.

All in all, it means faster assembly, stronger taper locks with no need to align pins. Currently QIKBUILD is available to suit 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 2000mm Conduit. The Hickory Data Centre in Truganina, Melbourne, is another project where The Spacer Company has added great value and saved time and cost on the build. Our products are all designed and manufactured at our Brisbane factory from 100% recycled polymer.
